You will need:
3 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
6 Tablespoons butter
2/3 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 1/3 cups milk
And for the topping:
4 Tablespoons butter, melted
1 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 Tablespoons cinnamon
4 cups apples, finely chopped and peeled

To begin, chop the apples (about six) into small bite-size pieces.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
Bake at 425 degrees for 25 minutes or until golden brown and cake tests done with toothpick or fork. Optional: Serve warm with a dollop on ice cream on top.
